Viviers is a small
walled medieval village on the Rhone. Climbed past sycamore trees and up
cobblestone streets to St Vincent Cathedral for a surprise organ concert. The
organist also had a special relationship with the Cathedral cat.
Some homes are beautifully restored and others are in ruin.
Flooding is a constant worry but not so much nuclear power. Our guide pointed out a nuclear power plant and claimed that nuclear energy supplies 70% of France's energy requirements.
Back on the ship, we were enjoying a relaxing bistro dinner when Richard spotted something ominous and scary behind me.
Turned out to be a common nuclear power plant - nothing to worry about (touch wood).
