A bus tour brought us
from Macon to the privately owned Chateau Cormatin on the Burgundy wine route. The chateau was in ruins when three friends
purchased and renovated - mainly the structure, grounds and their own
apartments.
We saw how a former marquis (quite the collector) and marquise lived.
Miraculously, we solved our way through the maze well before we were due on the bus.
