The 500 kilometer Skeleton Coast is littered with shipwrecks.
Portuguese sailors called this area "Gates of Hell" for the currents and fog - but the Cape Fur Seals (sea lions) LOVE it here. At Cape Cross Seal Reserve, there are over 100,000 inhabitants.
The nursing pup was cute ....
... but no way I was going to push past these boardwalk trespassers!
