Chile Atacama Lagunas Miscante y Miñiques

We drove to fresh water Lagunas Miscanti and Miniques (4350 m), separated by a short but desolate walk.

Oscar pointed to where hooded coots were nesting in the water to stay safe from foxes. Overlooking the cobalt blue lake and volcanos, we enjoyed one of our most exquisitely presented picnic lunches.
