Lyon suffered its worst weather in decades and our guide tried her best to drag us through the torrential downpour. I caught glimpses of lovely shops and would love to return. We visited an old courtyard with special apartments and the skies cleared a bit at the Basilica de Notre-Dame de Fourviere.
