Bleinham Palace in Autumn

Another great AWC coach trip - this time to Bleinham Palace (where Winston Churchill was born and proposed to his wife). After a great tour, an OK lunch in the cafeteria, and some shopping (Christmas Market would not open until next day, and gardens were rather cold on this day), a friend and I set off for the cute town of Woodstock. We had a wonderful time looking in the shops. I bought a fabulous chicken and mushroom pie at a butcher and a lemon curd cake at a bakery - each for £4 - bargain basement prices relative to London. We got back in plenty of time to catch the coach home.
